One of my weekday afternoon traditions back when I was a kid was to plop down in front of the TV and watch Animaniacs (along with Tiny Toons, Pinky and The Brain, Loony Toons, etc... hahaha!) Was really psyched to tackle the theme song for it. It does key changes on the fly and is as wacky as the show itself. In the video for this one, I just show the lead guitar line. Partly because I was really proud of myself for making it through the whole thing in one shot, and partly because I didn't take any video of me recording any of the other parts. :( I went down to the studio (basement) to start figuring out how I wanted to attack this song, and I was just playing around on the drum and rhythm guitar parts and it turned out that my "scratch tracks" ended up sounding good to me and I didn't want to re-do them. I hope you guys don't mind the guitar focus on this vid!
Anyways, thanks for listenin', everybody! If you like this stuff, please subscribe if you haven't already and click that like button! I love hearing from you guys too, so please leave me a comment here, or give me a shout on my facebook or twitter pages! I try to reply to everybody that takes the time to connect with me!
Until next time... rock on, geekers!
